I took my 4 year old daughter to see Dr De La Hunty as he came highly recommended by other mothers. We were told to give 1.5 hrs for the appointment and were finished well within this time (even if he was running a little late). Most importantly, he was thorough, highly knowledgeable and had a wonderful manner when talking to my daughter.

I've been seeing Dr De La Hunty since I was six months old. He's a fantastic opthalmologist and I wouldn't be where I am today without his fantastic help and support. I highly recommend this clinic and can't speak highly enough of David. The staff are kind and understanding, and always willing to help out whenever I've needed it. Thanks so much for the last nineteen years, Dr De La Hunty :)

Disappointing experience. Reception staff were rude, don't even look at you when you approach the desk or when talking to you. Also glared and tutted at my disabled child making noise. The appointment ran so late and small waiting room ended up with people crammed in like Sardines. The doctor himself seemed uninterested and couldn't get us out of the door quick enough.

Very disappointed. I was the 8am first appointment of the day, however when i pulled up noticed that his personalised Dr car park spot was absent. His admin staff were left to chat and idke whilst waiting for him to finally arrive at 845am (yes...45mins late for first appointment). Please let me know of anyone who thinks this is professional or a good way to run a business.... not acceptable, end of story. By the time i exited there were half a dozen people waiting who would be put out of their day due to the running behind of time that will have a flow on effect. I did not learn or gain anything new at all or derive any benefit from the appointment that my regular optometrist had sorted me with. That may be reasonable with my condition, however the absolute disrespect to patient's time and tardiness is not justifiable.

Dr De La Hunty corrected my lazy eye. 100% happy with his service
