Coal Creek Community Park & Museum

Old Fashion town/Museum Nice park to walk in,

We're visiting from Queensland. Coal Creek was recommended to us by family as a good outing which would last for an hour or so. Myself, my wife, and our three young children (8-6-4) spent almost 4 hours exploring the village. It is free entry and run by a dedicated team of passionate volunteers. Whenever we engaged with the coal Creek volunteers; we were offered very informative history and practice of the 1870-1920s. It has a small shop at the entry, and amenities throughout. It is extremely interactive and great for all ages. The grounds are well kept and the people are friendly. We would definitely visit again.

An ongoing project which has lots of history. I was surprised at how good this was as I expected something smaller and less interactive. The buildings were full of interesting object and stories. Was great to have the old lolly shop and a person manning the old printers giving people a chance to print their own bags. Even a train ride. The beginning of a wonderful place.

Coal Creek is an amazing place to learn more about the history of Korumburra and is a nice area to walk around and enjoy nature.

It is a lovely place with good food just not much to do there except for the train ride and some of the food is expensive.
