Superb place to find proper HiFi equipment and systems. The sales guy let's you take your time to try different systems and don't pressure you into a decision. A good place to try Quad systems, especially their electrostatic speakers.

I have known David since 1997 and Damian since 2019. Both are extremely knowledgeable of their craft, with high quality service to fellow enthusiasts. I have bought numerous items over the years, many of which I still own. Solid retailers in an increasingly online world who offer flexible and reasonable solutions to hifi's many curiosities. Highly recommended.

Due COVID-19 an appointment via phone was required, no problem, Damien was at his store in no time at all!nService was promt, fuss free and extremely polite, I purchased a Audiolab 6000A stereo amplifier, an entry level but extremely capable amplifier, it sounds great new and will only get better sounding!nI could only recommend Sound Reference highly!

Damian knows his stuff unlike other hifi stores in Melbourne's where they just push products. Damain sold me a lower cost product and was totally upfront about the lower cost product outperforming his higher margin products. Well done Damian, keep up the good work. This is one of the few businesses which deserves to thrive in this covid19 environment. They adapt to customer requirements...no whinging or whinning...definately have my future business despite me being to source cheaper from overseas..I'll give you my business.

I appreciate the time and knowledge that Damien has shared with me to help build my system over the years. Always fascinating to visit. His understanding and assistance in computer as a source is spot on. Numerous bits from him have been and still are part of my neat kit :-)
