I feel extremely fortunate that my GP referred me to Tom Shannon at the Prostate Clinic. From my first meeting, through to the post op care since my prostate was removed two weeks ago, I have been kept fully informed and felt extremely comfortable with the process. Tom has kept himself at the very forefront of technology in this area, resulting in an amazingly good outcome for me following surgery. While being very open with his thoughts, he has a very easy manner and good sense of humour, making the whole process far less daunting than it originally seemed. He also has wonderful support staff, both in the clinic and at Hollywood hospital, who are extremely knowledgeable and generous with their time. Tom has a real passion for men's health and fitness in general and it shines through the entire process.

A little over a month ago I was referred to the Prostate Clinic by my doctor after adverse findings in a routine blood test, to cut a long story short I had prostate cancer. Now, thanks to Tom Shannon and his team it’s looking very likely that it is gone for good. Getting cancer is of course not a great experience, but having a resource like the Prostate Clinic makes it so much easier. They manage all aspects very well, provide great information so you know what to expect and who to talk too as the process moves along everyone I met through the process seemed at the very top of their game. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Prostate Clinic to anyone.

Personally, I felt extremely sick after my prostate exam. I have endured many prostate exams, and this has been the worst experience yet. I asked him not to wear gloves, but he refused. I then asked him to do it with his tongue, but he refused, AGAIN. After this, I went home and I was constipated for days on end. Next time, train your surgeons to learn the human centipede style.

I have found The Prostate Clinic to be very efficiently run, effective, caring and empathetic at all times.nI was provided with ample printed and internet based material to enable me to gain a thorough understanding of my journey ahead.
