Dr Kai Goh

Dr Goh has treated both of my parents in the past and now myself. I find his care to be excellent and his staff are professional and compassionate.nI am always treated with respect and kindness. Appointment times can be long but I think that's because they are taking the necessary time to be thorough with the care they provide. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr Goh may be a well respected Ophthalmologist, but his appointment booking system needs to be reviewed and revised. It is disappointing that when I arrived at his rooms with my 80 year old mother for her 11.15am appointment, more than 40 chairs were already occupied by people waiting to see the specialist. It was more than 2 hours before my mother saw Dr Goh and she was in the room with him for exactly 2 minutes and 41 seconds - I timed it on my iPhone. How can this be acceptable? A waiting room full of mostly elderly patients forced to wait 2 hours for a 2 minute consultation. This is just bad management and poor organisation. My mother has refused to return for another appointment with this specialist.

Doctor Goh made time for an urgent appointment with me on very short notice and then fit me into his schedule for even more urgent treatment, a fact that makes me very gratefulnnI’d thoroughly recommend his rooms because of the way patients are treated and how happy all the staff are

I recently had Dr Goh operate on both my eyes for cataract, and as other reviews say his waiting rooms are very full, however with a full waiting room not all patients were waiting to see Dr Goh personally so after a total of 3 appointments to date the first wait was about 1 hour the second was 45 mins and the third wait was less than 30 mins all acceptable times to see a specialist.nI can only recommend this Doctor in the absolute highest terms , he is very personable and friendly, and is the best in WA in what he does , so if you want the best yes you will wit at times but he is worth waiting for , and my dealings have been nothing other than professional and exceptionally caring something that is hard to find with some professionals now days.nAlso let me say i have never written one of these reviews before , however after been so impressed i felt that i needed to say something THANK YOU Dr Goh.nThis review is written while my wife's google account is open so the name heading this review is not the name of the patient.nnGregory TruscottnCanning vale W.A.

i read a review, on this sight about waiting so long for dr kai go ,to have a look at my eye's,i had to wait for well over two hours.i did not mind at all.how very lucky we are to have such a good eye specialist to go to ,even if we have to wait for several hours before he can see you ,just take a good book to read .or something to listen to while waiting.and be thankful we have such a good doctor to help us so .dont forget we still live in the lucky country, regards don
