I recently put in a claim for a collapsed ceiling. APIA refused the claim claim because there was no water damage; and apparently the ceiling fixings did not meet Australian standards?nnSo make sure you get a full building inspection before you insure with this dodgy mob . Also if it's not water damage you're not insured.nnDefinitely cancelling insurance and find in a reputable insurer.
