Your store manager Steve was awesome. He had a 'can do' disposition and helped with an electronic issue I presented to him. His staff Josh had the same attitude. Well done Cannington branch. I shall always remember the brilliant service. Thank you.

Excellent range of goods with knowledgeable and helpful staff. I have used the store a lot.nBUT several times I have taken items that have developed a fault back for replacement while still under warranty and been refused.nFor example I bought a gas soldering iron, costing $165, in August. In May it stopped working. I took it back and the person serving agreed it was faulty - but his manager would not allow him to give me a replacement.nCAUTION: This store cannot be relied on to honor warranties.nUPDATE 5 days laternI attempted to file a complaint on their website but the 'submit' button didn't do anything. So took a screenshot and sent it snail mail.nA few days later somebody called me and claimed there had been a 'misunderstanding'.nHe said the manager of the Cannington store had been replaced (again). No apology, no offer of a refund. I hung up.nDISGRACEFULnnUpdate 8 JunenThe owner responded today to say my review was unfair and untrue. He said I WAS offered a refund. I WAS NOT. He had previously called me to say there was a 'misunderstanding' and rambled on . . . My BS alarm went off loudly so I hung up.nPoints:n1 I have an account with Altronics and have spent a moderate amount over the years at this store.n2 The range of stock is excellent.n3 The staff are first-class, knowledgable and helpful - but I note a high turnover of both staff and managers.n4 This is not the first time I have had justifiable refunds refused by managers at this store.n5. I do not like the implications on my honesty on this issue.n6. Altronics is losing a loyal customer.

Superb service. We run some Post Offices and the cable that connects our camera to our comp terminals. developed a fault. We were unable to get a replacement for 2 weeks. This literally cost as thousands in revenue. I went to other shops but they didn’t have the correct cable. Neither did Altronics. But they young guy behind the counter (I can’t remember his name) spent a lot of time figuring out how to adapt the cables they did have. Camera works. Very happy customer

Great range, good prices, knowledgeable staff. I respect the type of staff where they not only know what a component is, but what it does.nnI test my components religiously, and although online stores might be cheaper I have found various online retailer basic packs - resistors, caps, and transistors - to be very hit and miss. I'm yet to get a dud from a brick and mortar store.

Awesome staff. Very helpful and a pleasure to be around. The manager helped me beyond what I needed. Awesome guys!
