Have always loved the wines so wanted to visit the cellar door but last weekend went and the staff asked us to take a seat outside and wait and they would be right with us. After 25 minutes gave up waiting and went to Shaw and Smith across the road instead where we were taken care of in under 2 minutes and had an amazing time despite it being at least twice as busy there
Absolutely fantastic experience. Stunning views, attentive staff and most importantly fantastic wines. A strong recommendation to anyone in the area to pay a visit. In particular, Gab was very helpful and helped us pick some great souvenirs!

A spur of the moment side trip to Nepthene Wines led to us meet the delightful Alice. We arrived without a booking but that was no problem for Alice. She set us up at a barrel and brought out our choice of 3 whites to taste. Alice presented each wine with a smile and verbal tasting notes. It didn't take us long to decide which wine each of us wanted. Alice was able to quickly get together our order and away we went. An altogether pleasant experience, and well worth the visit. Thanks Alice.
