Hair By Nivine

I had a Groupon vouched for keratin and reading the T&C's it said there was a surcharge for longer hair. I asked upfront about the costs and the hair dresser was really honest, I was also offered the stronger keratin, more expensive than what the voucher was for. The hairdresser persuaded me to get it as it lasts longer and my hair was quite damaged. She was really polite and lovely to chat to and was a great experience. At the end I was offered products and I declined and said I'd think about it as they are quite expensive, the manager then became involved attempting to push the products as well, I still declined. All over it was a pleasant experience and I'm in love with my hair!

Had colour and keratin done here and honestly really happy. I saw Linda who seemed to be the manager. Best foils I’ve ever had ! The keratin didn’t take as long as usual (not complaining bout that) but still worked very well. Already referred 2 of my friends to see Linda for a colour consult.

Had a really good experience here. Bought a Groupon voucher for a cut and keratin, wasn't really sure what to expect considering it was my first keratin. So far, the treatment has been wonderful and my cut was also pretty good. I enjoyed the company of the staff, they're professional but are very easy going and made me feel really comfortable from the get go. Happy to become a regular.

In my whole 12 years of life I have never arrived home crying about my hair cut which is what happened yesterday after arriving home from hair by Nivine. When going in to get a hair cut I clearly indicated that I wanted my hair length to be a few inches below over my shoulders. Obviously the lady ignored what I said and cut my hair into a bob, simply because she felt like it. Her pathetic excuse AFTER IT WAS CUT was that if my hair was the length that I advised her to cut would look wrong. I am disappointed with the service and careless culture of the staff at hair by Nivine. In addition, the hair dresser that began to cut and wash my hair abandoned me to work on another client. This proves that their system is inconsistent because it is impossible to do 2 people’s hair at once. There are many hair salons with good outcomes, value for money and amazing service which are the three things that hair by Nivine don’t offer. The length of my hair does not suit me and is simply humiliating.

I came into the Eastgardens store as a last minute thing due to the salon I frequently go to has closed. Megan was very attentive and listened to my concerns with my hair. My hair is long and very heavy and with my birthday coming up the following day I mentioned it would be great if my hair would stay curled longer than a few hours since no other hairdressers have been able to do it right. She cut and thinned out my hair then styled it beautifully and on top of that the curls stayed on. I'll be back again.
