Australia Post

Generally a good place but I don't recommend getting your passport photos here. I had to renew my passport and decided to get my photos done here and it was horrible. The lady asked me to stand against the white backdrop and took the photo herself without a stand. They do not lodge the application here so i had to go to another post office. The other post office didn't accept and said that it didn't meet the requirements so i had to retake my photos. I could've saved $18.95 by not taking the photos the first time. Not happy :(

I checked the mail this morning after seeing my daughter off at the gate (we live across the road from the school) and found a card saying I missed their delivery driver, but I was home all morning and if the driver had knocked I most certainly would have heard it. Anyway I went to the post office to retrieve the parcel and I didn't realize it said on the card it wouldnt be ready for pick up until the next morning and when I went in the lady showed me the date on the card so I went back home, I heard from freinds and my partner that generally it makes it to the post office by 4pm so I went in after 4pm and spoke briefly to a man and asked nicely to check if it was there and he just said no, it won't be okay to pick up until tomorrow... this is just inconvenient for me because I only get Mondays off and I work 30 mins away and get a 45 min break so won't have time to pick up until next Monday but this wouldnt be the case if the driver had done their job properly in the first place... I've received deliveries of parcels from Australia Post recently so there is no excuse for this driver to have not be able to bring it to my door and just take my details like the other drivers have, my yard is fully fenced with gates and there are no "beware of dog" signs and I dont have any animals in the yard or on the property for that matter (I have no pets) so there is no excuse for not entering my gate, I will not leave my gate open because the area where I live theives tend to take that as an opportunity to window shop and NO I dont lock my gates either

Staff here are helpful, never encountered any lines which Australia Post are notorious for.

Good service
