Great venue, but the nosebleed section gives a rather poor viewing experience.

Really beautifully put together. You can tell this space was made with some serious TLC. Great to see it becoming increasingly popular!

Nice small studio, great equipment.

Being a singer/songwriter I chose this outfit because they had a mini-studio emphasising vocals simply accompanied and rates $330 per half day. A Dan Shaw in the control room and we could see one another from the shoulder up. He said he was a bass player. No mention of his recording experience or training if any (just who can claim to be a sound engineer in Sydney?).nnI started by laying down my acoustic accompaniement on my Gibson J-45. After a while it dawned on me (not him) that overdubbing my vocals may not work as I'm accustomed to doing both in tandem. So I rustled through self-accompanied 15 of my compositions in the remaining 1-2 hours. He was positive about most-no criticisms. Later I sent him my lyrics. His emailed reply?nn'If you continue to practise those songs, making sure your rhythm is comfortable and lyrics clear, your performances will be more solid next time around'.nnNo mention throughout the session of metronomes if we are gonna get pedantic. Not me.nnActually - and amazingly -5 of the songs emerged largely intact and with a clear and balanced sound. My concerns not technical - they are about communication.nnAnd tact - 'those songs' I've developed over the last decade after an aborted international legal career for a different perspective.nnSo not with Dan.
