A great time of the year to be at the park. Can be windy sometimes but it a lovely spot to have lunch. Can be crowded in weekend but a week day nice and quiet.

Beautifull place to picknick

It was once a vibrant nice park. Local council has not done many upgrades to the facilities which are substandard and dirty. The cleaning is third world country like, all of the shelters are disgusting and not cleaned very thoroughly. Homeless people often sleep in the shelters at night and on the weekends a bunch of Islanders and a large group of Muslim women congregate here (I think it is a large family) and spend the entire day here. They are not even from the surrounding area and have taken over the park which should be shared for the entire community to use. This park is not what is used to be and look at the car park. Is it even a car park? Pretty much a uneven gravel patch. I would like to see lighting in the park.. recently the local council installed lights on the dog compound but not the rest of the park? Which seems like a lack of prioritisation.

Gorgeous setting by the water..lots of room to play and walk along the forefront enjoying views and sea aur. Reasonably good shelters and bathrooms
