Glen Lomond Park

Beautiful scenery over the valley as you walk around the perimeter of the park, with a few short forays deeper in. The Hell Hole Falls trail goes down into the bowl, a 3 hour return trip if you're feeling adventurous. Tracks aren't that well developed, but you have the feeling of full immersion in nature, with an abundance of birdlife. A few nice picnic areas have been cleared among the trees along the trail to stop and rest.

What a great spot, so close to the Toowoomba CBD. I hiked there for 3 hours on a Sunday morning and only saw one other person.nnVery tranquil and feels remote despite being just over the side of the range from town. Highly recommend the inaccurately named Hell Hole Gorge. It is very easy to loose the path though, but suitable for experienced off track walkers.nnThe wildflowers and flowing tranquil creek were some of the highlights.

Did the Spurr track from burraway court, not to difficult, very grassy, no views.

Easy trail most of the way, but can just pick your own path as you get close to the falls. Would recommend, good adventure
