Table Top Mountain

This is a fairly challenging hike but do-able by anyone reasonably fit. You'll need to be agile enough to clamber over boulder rocks, scramble up and down rock scree, and balanced enough for steep inclines and declines.nnAllow a couple of hours, take your time and take a picnic to enjoy at the too. The views are AMAZING - especially if there has been rain in the days/weeks prior.nnLocal hiking group HAPPY HIKERS TOOWOOMBA enjoyed a hike up Table Top in an unusually cool January morning.

We hiked up to the top of Table Top Mountain and walked around the loop trail at the summit. It’s not the easiest of hikes as you need to scramble over some pretty rocky uneven terrain but the view from the top is pretty nice. Take closed in shoes and water. Took us a couple of hours to do the hike and return back to the car park.

Not the hardest trail but it was a cool walk. First thing I did on Toowoomba. I circled the whole top and it was nice to see surrounding hills and flat lands.

Probably the best mountain I've climbed so far. Short one but really satisfying!
