I booked a two-hour massage for my birthday (6 July, 10:00-12:00) at Scent Thai Massage, I received an email confirmation and text confirmation for this booking. I arrived on time for my appointment the place was closed. I waited 20 mins and no one was there (I called the number, no answer, rang the doorbell, no answer). I left and called a couple of times that morning to see if they had changed their opening hours. I got a call at 12:30 asking me if I wanted to make a booking. Clearly had not listened to my message. She advised me that she had not been told about the Bookwell appointment. I re-scheduled for 13:30, confirming I wanted a 2 hour massage. When I arrived, the lady asked me if she could do it for 1.5hours instead as the wrists hurts afterwards. I was so frustrated that I refused and left. Do not advertise 2 hour options if your staff are not able to deliver on your packages. I have often come to this place and was always happy with the service, but this was appalling.
After a long and stressful day I stumbled upon this fantastic place- what a find! My therapist was experienced enough to be able to locate my tender spots whilst also being careful of my injuries through touch alone. The place itself is immaculate and ambient--exactly what you need when you're aching for an impromptu massage. I will definitely be making this a regular part of my self-care routine!
