I have used Craig in the past quite a while ago and was amazed at the level of skill and knowledge he possessed but on a recent experience I was unfortunately left a little disappointed.nnCraig still remains a professional to his fanclub customers and is polite and courteous. The disappointment stems from the lack of communication and what seemed like disinterest in dealing with me. Perhaps due to selective clientele or years of not wanting to deal with inquisitive customers. Whatever the case his passion seems to have dwindled somewhat and fortunately for me I was pleased to find there are many other Melbourne based luthiers who equal or surpass his skill level and still love the craft.

Craig is a born-and-bred musician who knows what he’s talking about. When you need your guitar restored back to life, especially in a rush, Craig is super reliable and knowledgable. I haven’t seen a guitar repair store with a turnaround time like his, highly recommend!!!

I switched to O’Donnell’s for my guitar set-ups about 2 years ago and I couldn’t be happier with the workmanship. Craig just seems to have a magic touch and the 4 guitars he’s done for me in this period all play like a dream. The most recent set-up he did for me was about 3 weeks ago on a made-in-Indonesia Fender FMT Tele HH that wasn’t much fun to play due to neck and fret issues. The playability is now brilliant and I’m finding it hard to it put down! Thanks Craig, I really appreciate your care and effort.

Sent my Epiphone in for a set up, it was so bad before that I hadn't used it for years. I couldn't be happier with the result, feels awesome, sounds great, even stays in tune! Thanks O'Donnell Guitars, much appreciated.

Took my guitar in for a new nut and polish and he did a great job. Will defo be returning when I need to in future
