Hi I would like to say that I saw Dr Nadkarni last September with major back pain from a fall in august and for many years of back pain I went to many other specialist and they gave me pills for years,, I am a panel beater and do physical work,, but what dr Nadkarni did for me in September 2018 has been good he is to be congratulated for knowing his job and he is a very good at it I am glad I met him, I recommend him to all with back issues, thank you sir very much for helping me,nNICK FERREIRA.

I have had Rhizotomy and nerve root sleeve injections from c1 to c6 spread over a number of months i have almost pain free for 16-18 months. I couldn't be happier. I have every faith in Sanjay!

I had been searching for many years for an alternative procedure to ease BPH,and only came up with Turps,Urolift etc done by urologists.About 5 years ago I found a procedure called Prostatic Arterial Embolism which was being used overseas.I asked a few medical people about it,but found it hadn't yet made it here.Meanwhile my BPH had caused a few problems,including one incident of being unable to urinate causing my bladder to fill with 1100 ccs,until relief at emergency in Albany with a catheter.Various MRI,CT and ultra-sounds found no cancer but only BPH.nI did finally get a referral from my urologist to someone who had recently appeared on my radar a year before....Sanjay Nadkarni,a radiologist.nInitial consultation with him was great....considerate,with full info about the procedure.Booked me into Charlies two weeks later.nI was in the OR for about 3.5 hours,no anaesthetic except for near my wrist where the catheter was inserted.Fully conscious during the procedure with no inner sensation of the catheter finally reaching the prostate blood vessels,some as small as 1mm.Careful guiding of the catheter is all on the monitor being looked at by another specialist, to avoid hitting any major arteries esp.in the groin.Constant checking with me in case I felt any discomfort.nAn efficient,non-invasive,no side effects procedure which should have more notice in the community of men troubled by an enlarged prostate.nSanjay did such a good job as did the staff in that dept of Charlies.I can't speak highly enough of everyone.nAfter three months,the results are outstanding....complete voiding,constant flow and lack of urgency.No getting up often in the middle of the night...what more could you ask for?nMy only scar is a small dot near my left wrist!!nLet's tell people about this.
