Dr Kim R Bennet

I would highly recommend Dr Kim Bennet if you're looking for a surgeon to remove wisdom teeth. He was absolutely brilliant and I had minimal to no swelling and no pain. The nurses are absolutely lovely, from start to finish its a very professional, reassuring experience.

When I had my consultation, my gut feeling was to not have him remove my wisdom teeth. I did not follow that feeling and my experience was terrible. I never felt safe or comfortable. You are treated as just a number so don't expect anything beyond that. They deal with hundreds of wisdom teeth removals so for them, it is very routine. Just to give an example, when I had questions at my follow-up, the answers were impatiently given. Again, it is routine for them and most of us know it is a common procedure that we will have to go through, but there were things I didn't know... like how much my cheek was going to be cut open. During my consult, he told me the teeth are removed from my gums. I thought something went wrong or happened since my cheek had stitches. I tried to talk about it and the number of stitches and to understand but it was horrible. I even waited 2 weeks after my follow-up to make sure I really hated my experience that much before writing this. Salt in the wound, I had to pay for it all out of pocket. I would rather still be in pain from my wisdom teeth than have gone through him. Again, if you have any doubts, don't do it.

I had a back molar removed by Dr Bennet in December 2015. While he did an absolutely brilliant job with the problem tooth he also broke another molar on the other side of my mouth. I was not informed of this by Dr Bennet or any of the staff at Kings Park Day Surgery. I now have to have the broken tooth removed! Not happy in the slightest as no responsibility for the broken tooth was taken by anyone.nnI will not be returning to Dr Bennet or recommending him to anyone.
