Great salon experience! I am super happy with the result. My hair looks the best it has in years. Well priced considering the amount of time and care they took to make my hair look perfect.

I drove past this place and really liked the look of it.

The staff at Shag are absolutely amazing. By far the best balayage in Newcastle! Having my hair done at Shag is always an appointment that I look forward to.

Most the staff are lovely, the only reason I'm giving one star is because my hair was bleached without my permission and I was told it was a deep cleanse shampoo, when it was a bleach bath, once I had realised this I said that I didn't want my hair bleached as I was trying to grow out my natural colour the girl argued with me instead of apologizing. She then agreed to not charge me for the bleach bath and give me a complimentary treatment which was lovely. I asked how she would fix the trio of colours I had going on from the bleach bath that was applied like shampoo to my natural colour and already bleached hair (it was like blobs of orange all through my roots) she said she would tone it darker. I said but toners fade and I don't want to be getting this done all the time hence the growing out. She then agreed to do foils next time for free to help blend in the patches of colour which again was lovely of her. So the next time I came back she did this and then cut my hair, the cut was shocking. All I wanted was a blunt cut and there were chunks she had missed and huge steps throughout my hair. At this stage I decided I wouldn't bother going back as I had been there three times and this was my second bad experience.nIt won't let me reply to your comment underneath, thank you for getting in conntact with me these appointments I was talking about were November and either December or January 2017 so a few years ago.
