Gantheaume Point

Its quite easy to believe that dinosaurs roam here millions of years ago. A great place to climb rocks,search for dinosaur footprints or watch some of the most magical sunsets on the planet. Public amenities on site.

Wow. What an absolutely stunning place to visit while in Broome!! The colours of the rock formations were so vivid. Great reading about the spiritual significance of Gantheaume Point to Indigenous people.

Would be great to be there at very low tide but top marks for reproducing the dinosaur footprints for those that can't see the real thing. Interesting interpretive material but it is showing signs of age and could do with a revamp.

Lovely view point and easy access up unsealed track for all vehicles. Dinosaur prints are very hard to find, we didn't see them. Best to see at the lowest tide. Check tide forecast for lowest tide before heading out if you want to see the footprints
