Streeter's Jetty

Great spot to watch the high and low tides come in and out during each day. Make sure you check what time the tides change and the times do differ each day. You can jump on to a website to see tidal times for each day or pick up a street/Broome map from the tourist info or car hire place and they have the times for each day.. It's such an amazing thing to witness how fast the tides change and the beautiful clear water but kind of milky-green colour. Only bad thing we found id there are plenty of tourists there at the end of the jetty taking pictures so try and make it there first..

Local habitat for the Black-tailed Whistler ~ Pachycephala melanura

Since we were here two years ago they have let the mangroves take over. You can't see any water any more let alone fish. It is blocked of at the moment. I hope they are going to tidy it up. The amount of people that walk down it when I'm fishing (which is not very long) is amazing. Tourists who spend money. I hope it is cleaned up as before. Steve.
