Old Barrington Quarry

Great for getting rid of those old safes and we@pons back in the old days. A few expensive cars are are at the bottom if you are keen to scuba dive.nnCan be a bit loose trying to swim in summer as the water is freezing in the deep middle, and you usually get a free brain infection if you inhale the shallow warm water.nnOther than that it's a good place to see some utterly brave as hell rock artists over the years.nMy favourite is TOM.SnLOVE THE PLACE. Called The Rock Pools by us locals.

Great place for a dog walk. Pretty annoying the amount of rubbish.

Whilst it is a fantastic place for hiker and his dog, and myself visiting there weekly for the last year or so, please don’t do what i did and trustingly let my dog wander off on me, off lead unfortunately (yes i know my fault) near the the zig zag cliff’s edge, and fell 15-20m to his death last Saturday. Max was a 48kg Wolfhound x that died so tragically. Im devastated beyond belief in tears four days on...
