Absolutely beautiful!nThe kids had a great day!! They are very safe swimming and playing, plenty of shade, couple of big gazebos with bbq's, only 5 or 6 picnic tables but lots of space for picnic chairs n rugsnLarge toilet blocksnThere's a 6km walk around the dam, u go past the nearby campground (approx 1km walk from the dam)nYou're encouraged to take all rubbish away with you, it was very clean so this system seems to work wellnDefinitely recommend a day trip there

Wow. Kids loved riding around the dam on their scooters. One of the most picturesque places I have ever been to.

Gorgeous walk trails around Big Brooke dam. Picnic tables and toilets are also provided. Highly recommend!

Great place for a picnic, swim or kayak! Lots of shady trees and picnic tables. There are a couple of gazebos with BBQ facility so come early to secure the place. ;) There is a short walking path (bitumen) lined with tall trees if you fancy a leisurely stroll.
