Not overly helpful. Gave me a booklet and told me it would serve my purpose. When I went to use it (in the middle of nowhere) the content turned out to be useless. I should have checked but nevertheless.

Drove from Monkey Mia & had a quick stop over for souvenir coin. We had a nice chat with two friendly & helpful ladies at the counter. They suggested a few places for quick lunch, we ended up eating at Skeetas Restaurant, which turned out really good. First time experience in Geraldton, thanks ladies for making our day special.

Located right next to the foreshore on Marine Terrace, the city’s visitor centre is both a handy amenity for guests and an impressive piece of Geraldton heritage.nnThis fine wooden building, dating to 1878, was the first railway station to be built on a government line in Western Australia.nnThe building’s history has been painstakingly preserved, and fascinating elements from the old station are visible throughout the visitor centre.nnHead in for firsthand advice, leaflets, brochures and maps, and to book a flight or cruise to the Abrolhos Islands.

Disappointed, we went back a couple of days in a row and it was constantly closed. On Day 3, we visited the Gaol and found out from Marg there that the Visitor Centre is moving to the Art Gallery, hence why its closed. A sign on the door to advise tourists wouldnt go astray, while we were checking it out we saw at least 10 or 15 other tourists trying to drop in and we all left disappointed. Not good enough for a regional hub city.

Got there at 9am and was closed. Came back at 10am and it was closed. Not open Saturday or Sunday. I seen heaps of people coming and going. 2hrs I'm never getting back. You need to update your site.
