My knee op surgery was handled very professionally, I was treated with respect and care under Mr McGonagle's supervision. My post op care was EXCELLENT. I had a complication with an infection in the skin 6/7 days following surgery, this was dealt with very expediently by Mr McGonagle, cultures were taken to ascertain that it was not in the joint and every care was taken by the team under Mr McGonagle's authority to heal the wound completely before being discharged from hospital. The need, on my part, for post op exercises and expectations was discussed prior to surgery and I was strongly advised to follow through with physios advice. It has been 6 months since surgery and I have absolutely no pain! I would highly recommend Mr McGonagle for any orthopaedic surgery.
