Had a very enjoyable experience here. They served you with nice, cold bottled water once you've sat down and wait for you to be all comfy before getting into business.nI've had a hard time finding a good salon for awhile cause I'm a bit sensitive about my hairstyle. But the stylist here was very detailed and paid attention to my requests and gave some suggestions when I'm not quite sure with my own request.nThey're very gentle and polite, couldn't ask for a better one!nありがとうございました☺

I needed an emergency rescue hair cut because I had a horrible hair cut from FM Studio on Pitt st. They were fully booked at the time but still take me after I explained my situation. Greatly appreciate their help and you get the quality and peace of mind you expected from a professional hairdresser. You know you are in good hands and will have a joyful experience. I will stick with this one in the future and highly recommend the director cut. From my experience, never just pick a random one on the street, there are so many bad lemons in the market, and stay away from FM studio on Pitt st!!!!

Love the experience at Lamp Hair. Nobuko San was amazing and totally understood what I was looking for - layered, long fringe and curls. I love the service and ambience. Very relaxing and comfortable. The chair for the hair wash station is like a dentist chair and will tilt you back. They also give you bottled water and a delicious sugar cookie. I was also really impressed that the digital perm was very well set up and Nobuko San placed a lot of pads under the heating curls so it wouldn’t be too hot for my scalp. Love the results and got lots of compliments!

This is a lovely salon and I will definitely visit again. Upon arrival I was greeted straight away, taken to my seat and provided with a bottle of water. The stylist helped me to decide on a cut and then took me to the basin for the hair wash. The electronic recliners were lovely and as I reclined they placed a shade over my eyes and I felt so relaxed. The shampoo smelled divine and the head massage was fantastic. The staff here are dedicated and careful. They made sure that no water splashed or dripped on me and I didn't get even one hair on me when they cut my hair. The hair cut itself is great and suits my hair. My fringe is difficult to cut as it has two cowlicks but they had no trouble and it looks great. It was also well priced given what a fantastic job they did. I will definitely be back.
