Fairfax Heritage Track

Perfect walk with kids: it is easy and flat (it can even be done with a pram) in the forest with a very rich and varied vegetation. The hollow tree in the middle with scribbles from insects is particularly interesting. Starting from the beautiful information centre, one arrives at George Philips and then Govetts Leap lookouts for a grant finale! (and then you can walk the direct track along the road to come back to the information centre).

Located in the Blackheath Area in the Blue Mountains National ParknStart: at the Blue Mountains Heritage Center for the spectacular rock faces and lookouts of Govetts Leap, at Blackheath.nIn summer, the bright red blossoms of the Waratah flower (Telopea truncata), as well as many other colorful wildflowers, can be admired.n1.8km one way. Also suitable for inexperienced hikers and seniors (approx. 30 - 45min).nWith the rock faces at George Phillips Lookout and Govett's Leap Lookout, you can see the great view of thatnWorld Heritage Site of the Blue Mountains National Park, with Grose Valley, Govetts Gorge and Jungle Falls experience and enjoy.nPicnic options are available for both lookouts.nToilets and a cafe / kiosk are available in the Blue Mountains Heritage Center.nDogs are not allowed on the way.
