I sat on this review for a while to make sure it was a fair assessment. First off hair candy is a welcoming freindly place and the staff were all very nice. I know they are capable of such great outcomes but unfortunately what I received was not one. My hair extensions were absolutely awful to the point I was convinced it was not human hair as it felt like horse hair. The hair was so thick and coarse to the point I could not wear it out for even a few hours because of the impossible tangles that would develop. I have very fine hair and the extensions I received did not match; they were the most horrible and cheap hair I have ever felt. Despite treating it with the best products the tangles were just unmanageable and the shedding became excessive to the point of brushing I was left with a substantial hand of hair. It became quite distressing to have such horrible unmanageable extensions. When raised to the staff they instantly dismissed my concerns and down played it to be my fault. Also the extensions were not ordered in my requested colour, instead they coloured old stock they had laying around. As soon as they got wet all the colour instantly ran out. I have since been elsewhere and received new extensions in my requested colour that came factory dyed and not one bit of colour has ran. To be fair hair candy did re-dye my hair a week later due to all the colour loss but this would have been avoided if they done right thing to start off with. I have since had new extensions placed from someone reputable and I have experienced none of the above problems. The hair is as advertised ,fine, soft and matches the quality of my natural hair. Hair candy are clearly capable of delivering a good product but I was blatantly ripped off. This has been very stressful and disappointing lesson for me.

The only hairdressers I trust with my hair. Have tried other places but keep coming back because the customer service and hospitality is the best I’ve experienced. I always leave with exactly what I’ve asked for and my hair has never looked and felt better. If you’re on the Gold Coast I would strongly recommend the girls here.
