I cannot speak more highly of Amanda Appleby. She’s an amazing colourist and stylist, and the first hairdresser I’ve had that has made me feel confident to wear my hair naturally (wavy/curly). She also has the best snacks and gives an incredible head massage - the little perks that make all the difference when you want to relax and enjoy getting your hair done.
I have been a longtime ( 15 years) client of Amanda’s and let me tell you - this talented and creative stylist is just reaching her straps! She ensures your visit is filled with laughter and cares greatly about your experience. She listens to your ideas, uses her experience to give you the best cut, colour, up style you have ever had. Seriously. She works with your features and your own personal style to help you decide what will and won’t work for you personally. Thanks to Amanda’s brilliant way with my hair, as well as her expert advice as to the correct hair care products, my hair is low maintenance and I find myself wishing I could sit in her chair more often than I need to! Always up for a laugh and a great chat, while expertly bringing my hair to life, I recommend Amanda to anyone who so much as breathes that they are in need of a stylist!
I never really found a salon I really liked - they either had high staff turnover making results inconsistent, and / or used inferior products. I finally found Amanda 2 years ago and have being using her ever since. I am extremely happy - the end results are always amazing, she uses top quality products, is professional and will suggest new styles and colours that she believes will look great on you. Plus her scalp massage when applying conditioner is the absolute best!!!
I cannot fault Amanda's service.nI was able to book with the ease, the appointment ran on time, her salon is gorgeous and my hair looked fantastic. Highly recommend!
