Murrumba Downs Salon: Unfortunately I didn’t enjoy my experience as much as I thought I would. Very squeaky door to the back room constantly opening, staff discussing personal plans talking over the top of clients, poor time management with clients, the elderly being rushed, lack of communication and politeness towards the elderly too which bothered me just witnessing. The owner had good conversation but not everyone else. The general atmosphere was very young and transactional. There are stickers on the mirrors stating if you give a 5 star review you will get $5 off your next visit, this is tacky and likely responsible for a few good reviews. 3/5 stars, the staff were nice however mannerisms were immature which gave off an unprofessional overall vibe.nnI have visited the Sandgate salon many times and always enjoyed it. The staff are so lovely, very respectful and professional to all age groups. The hairdressers are confident in their practice which is reassuring especially when your changing your look. The atmosphere is relaxing and you leave feeling as though it’s been an experience rather then just a service. 5/5 stars.

Being blonde I struggle to find a hairdresser that can get me to the colour that I want. Last week I had my first hair appt at Empress Hair Murrumba Downs & I have honestly never been so happy with the end result. The knowledge and professionalism of my stylist was very impressive and the colour I walked out with is exactly what I wanted. I've finally found my forever hairdresser ud83dude4c thanks a million.

I had the pleasure of getting my hair done for the first time @ the Murrumba Downs salon this week. From start to finish the level of service provided was highly commendable. My hair looks and feels amazing... cut, color and foils with a treatment. I never felt rushed at any stage of my time and the staff listening to what I wanted and also provided recommendation. A lovely and very talented team! Thank you.

I'm a male with medium/long hair so I find it hard to find a place thatnwill do a good job. I've had 3 different stylists and they have all cut my hair perfectly.nThe Stylists always listen and offer great advise when unsure.nI trust this place!

This salon is Very,nice staff and very helpful.nLong story,short;Originally I was going to another salon(which wasn't empress hair)for a shampoo and blowdry (which I had booked a week ago,for a sat morning)but the day before appointment (Friday)that salon rung me & said cancelled my appointment saying they are short staffed and cant accomodate my shampoo anymore because someone called in sick,I was bit annoyed & surprised that no one else could do it as I had booked this way in advance.nSo anyway I started to ring some nearby salons for getting a shampoo and blowdry for sat(only 1 day away !)and when i rung Empress hair they were really nice over the phone & very kind to squeeze me in for next day(sat)so I went there this morning to the murrumba downs salon and was looked after by Ang and Bell,they were both lovely.I had a shampoo done along with blowdry+straighten and I was very happy with the service and they were very quick too.
