We had Calvin play at our wedding and he was exceptional. We had numerous guests comment on how his music really set the scene and how beautiful it was. 100% recommend if you're even in need of a pianist.

When my partner and I were planning the reception for our wedding, we knew the feeling we wanted to capture. Travelling across America, and also while basking in the glow of Paris, we enjoyed many nights in establishments where the only thing that accompanies your meal is a live piano player and the company you share, casting a truly momentous air across each evening. So we knew from the start of planning that this what we were seeking: a piano player who would bring this same feeling to our special night.nnWe were so fortunate that a Google search brought Calvin to our attention in the early days. We listened through his recordings and planned our hopes for what we wanted to achieve. Upon messaging Calvin, he was extremely helpful in answering all of our queries (including the choice between hiring a piano or using his keyboard, of which we opted for the latter), and was happy to work towards any special requests we had.nnEven after almost a year of planning, my partner and I still couldn't picture everything coming together. However, on the night itself, as we sat in the green room with our bridal party, sharing glasses of champagne, we could hear Calvin start to play as guests slowly filtered into the reception room, and we knew immediately we had made the best choice. It immediately set the feeling of the night, one of intimate warmth and class, and this feeling carried throughout the whole of the seated portions of the reception, as Calvin played while all meal services were being served, and guests were able to talk to each other, or filter out and listen to the piano as they wished.nnMy only regret is I didn't get to thank on the Calvin on the night personally, as I didn't want to disturb his beautiful playing. Truly, Calvin was everything we hoped for and more, and made our wedding reception a memorable thing of beauty, where guests could lose themselves in the soft glow of the night.
