Bows for Strings

This music shop is highly recommended by my son’s school music teachers and conveniently located on a relatively quiet row of shops including a few restaurants, a trophy shop and wellness centre. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable on all things related to string instruments. Parking is easy and near the aquatic centre which has loads of spaces.

This is our go to place for anything violin related. Excellent customer service from both the team at the front as well as the team in the workshop. Definitely recommended. Just be careful as due to their popularity (especially at the start of school term), there can be the occasional wait.

I’ve been dealing with Bows for Strings the last few weeks during lockdown, after I decided I wanted to start playing violin again. They were extremely helpful in sending me a rental to use until I could go into the store. Yesterday I was able to finally go into the store to purchase and they were fabulous in helping me choose a beautiful violin and bow. The violin has been set up beautifully and sounds amazing and the customer service was excellent. I’m glad this store was recommended to me, as it’s definitely the go to store for me now for anything violin related.
