I don’t recommend renting this place. Other places offer Origin as the utility provider, but here, they use some unknown company that charges an arm and a leg as there’s no competition. Same for internet provider. Their rental prices aren’t competitive like other brand new apartments nearby. Rent increases are always a huge jump here. Even during COVID-19 where other places have reduced rent, they’ve increased even for good tenants. When you contact their leasing apartments they’re slow in responding for your needs but fast in responding when it favours them. They often sell their gym and pool but the pool is always cold and not heated, the gym is tiny and smelly. I do however like the privacy in high level apartments as you’re not facing with neighbours but I can pay the less renting at Macquarie park opposite to macquarie centre which is convenient for buses, shopping centre, train station etc and still get a city view with reasonable privacy

DO NOT RENT HERE!! I have lived at the this Arise Meriton apartment for a little over 2 years and paid around $75,000 in rent alone during that time. I want to share my experience with you so that you can think twice before signing a lease here. Building Management - Shocking! I have seen 3 building managers through my time here, so that tells you something. Appliances seem to break down regularly and getting them serviced is sometimes even more of a headache. Once, it took 6 weeks to have the air conditioner repaired, during the middle of summer with no compensation in return. When moving out, the current building manager bribed me for cash in hand for me to get my full bond back (super dodgy). Facilities – Mediocre! Yes, they have a pool, spa, sauna, gym etc, but their bells and whistles are all underground, away from the sun and surrounded by the nauseating smell of chlorine. The gym is tiny and has zero ventilation or windows (do not let the pictures fool you). Apartment/Amenities – Dismal! The rooms are average in size at best and they become mini ovens in summer, so the air con requires constant use (when they actually work). The worst part of it all is that Meriton use embedded networks, which means that you are bound to use their electricity, water and internet providers and you do not have the freedom to use any providers you so choose. These providers are also ridiculously expensive. I am 1 person and averaged about $350 per month ($4200 a year) just on electricity and water! Google these providers and see for yourself what residents think of them (WinConnect for electricity and water. Fuzenet for internet). The shower pressure is restricted so the spray is poor/gentle (it really sucks). Did I mention that you have to pay for water here? And to add to that, it takes roughly 5 litres of water before you reach warm water (intentional?). Summary: Do not make my same mistake! Meriton is a well-known name, so people are easily mistaken that they will be getting luxury living. Sadly, you will be mistaken from that reality if you live here, far from it actually. Agreed, that they have promoted themselves well, but all they care about is making money. They have cut all the corners to look good, but trust me, I have never had so many appliances break down in one apartment. Building management will do everything in their power to delay a service request and you do not feel like a valued resident. There are so many other awesome places around Lane Cove (which I only just discovered) and I wish I could have gone back 2 years ago and discovered these places sooner. Do yourself the favour of looking elsewhere before just seeing the Meriton brand name and thinking that you will be living the high lifestyle that you think Meriton promotes! They are not cheap apartments to rent either!

Unit is great but on the sunny side so you can't use the bedroom until late afternoon because it is too hot.. like an oven. Bathroom is small, laundry is large... umm... staff are helpful and units are close to restaurants. . Well presented and very clean.
