Queensland Museum

It's always an amazing place. Well looked after, clean and family friendly environment. I have been bringing my family here since babies, and they still ask to come back when ever we visit Brisbane. My only complaint is after 15 years, the same displays get tedious. BUT, if it's your first time there's lots of amazing free stuff to see.

They always have something on here. You can spend an easy 2+ hrs here without even going to any of the paid activities. $17 a day parking (cheaper than the train if more than 2 people really.)

Great place to take the kids I think during this climate kids under 10 should be free as it does get costly as a whole family seeing small exhibits and should be more on offer for places to eat but certainly a day well spent, can't wait for more exhibitions over the holidays and new year. Staff are friendly and helpful and is a clean but very busy environment so wear a mask if worried about any health issues..

I have always happily attended this museum with no issues until today. There was a Sea Creatures exhibition and there was a thing you could do where you colour a shark and scan it in and they show it on screen. The purple headed lady was very rude in her approach to people not colouring in with the correct colours. It's been a stressful year and rudeness doesn't need to be included in what is supposed to be a fun and stress free experience.

I spent a fabulous afternoon at the museum. Definitely going back with my wife to experience together.. A great learning experience for the family.. 😊
