They were hired by HSBC to valuate my property for loan refinancing. Mr Dang, valuator came down. Walked the interior of the house, but only looked over the fence at the pool, but did not deem it necessary it walk the large area that included the communal pool. He states that he has much experience with similar pools from other properties and did not think it required to walk the pool. Valuation came much lower than expected, but now I am unsure if this valuation is actually accurate or if it's a sloppy job. If I can't trust the valuation from a professional valuer and his company, then what are you guys even doing. How can I plan ahead for the future if I can trust the valuation from a professional company? Spoke to him, and he states he officially can't release the report. The bank declined releasing the report as well. As such, HSBC got taken for a ride, and hours wasted by our family in preparation for this valuation. Guys, lots of companies out there.
