Great day out. I read some reviews about how it's not free snorkeling which is correct but for a simple reason in regards to the dolphins behaviour as they are wild and splashing etc..can be seen as an aggressive behaviour. I would highly recommend to anyone, even to a non experienced swimmer. This is such a great experience and safety was top priority.Staff were great and friendly and made everyone feel welcome.Get Amongst it!
Beautiful day, , lots of gorgeous dolphins playing and having fun! A "great to be alive" moment. Fab young crew, enthusiastic people which you can tell love these mammals and their jobs! Im going again!
2tars doesn't mean awful service or overall haphazard facilities. I am sure if you can be satisfied with "dolphin watching in the sea water", this tour must perfect for you. However, if you are expecting 'swimming' with dolphin, with your own fins, without any bounded rope, this tour is not for you. (You definitely don't need to bring your gears)
Crews divided people into several groups, each of 7~10 person. When they found dolphin in the sea, each group get into the water with waist belt and holding others belt in one hand by guide of group leader. The group members was following the leader, crew, one hand on the each other's belt. And that's all.
I could see several dolphins. Sight view in the see was not that good, just about 1~2 meters. Maybe in this condition of ocean, this kind of method might be most safe and reasonable way to see dolphins. The reason I give 2 stars is that I couldn't find any details on this method when I make a reservation and looked on the website. It had to clear what 'swim' is, or some free divers who is looking for swim-with-dolphins tour must dissatisfy again.
Nevertheless, crew members were so nice, even like I had to worry about their emotional labour. One of them came to me and my friends to recommend free-diving spot(Southern shore of Cape Peron) when she caught our grimace. Tea and snack, fruit on the board was great and also with sandwich.
The people deserves 5 stars but this tour wasn't for me.
The crew is really nice and helpful. Very knowledgeable about the dolphins as well. It was a good tour all round but honestly, there were too many people on this tour to really make it feel 'special'. Not everyone got to see the dolphins up close and personal like a select few and I know this is not the crew's fault. They were actually really good with rotating everyone to the front of the line at least twice or thrice when they brought us into the water. It was just circumstance of course that wild dolphins don't always come right up to the tourist. Though had there not been so many people, I think it would've been a lot better experience. More people would've gotten to see the dolphins up close first hand had it not been so crowded. The water is also not that clear, so it's a bit hard to make out the dolphins underwater unless you're pretty close to them. Other then that, it was pleasant. The boat is nice, the meal is nice. and the crew is really smart. They answer any questions that you may have and are there for whatever you need. This tour is a bit pricey but for the people who got to see the dolphins up close and personal, it was probably worth it for them.
Super experience and a MUST DO if in Perth.
Brilliant crew, boat and equipment excellent and lovely lunch. A very special day. Thank you . These beautiful creatures are such a joy to be with, emotional and humbling. Without a doubt the highlight of my three months home in Australia.
