Red Hill Photographic Rooms

Photo turned out lovely, except the photographer refused to take the photo because we deviated slightly from the set pose. He also would only apologise to the man in the group and referred to us two as 'females'.

You can visit this place to have yourself photographed in costumes from the times when the mines were operational. A great souvenir to find out how you would have look in those days. There isn't usually a wait here. however its fun to wear those costumes of the old days

This is a fun thing to do at Sovereign Hill, as it creates a permanent momento / souvenir of your visit. The style is very genuine and the photographic quality is very good. Costumes are made to be easily zipped or buttoned on. They are a bit shabby from many people putting them on and off but as you can see, there is no way to tell this once the photo has been taken. The only thing is it's a bit pricey and framing is extra. Still, I recommend that its worth doing! Fun and you get to put the photo on your wall afterwards!
