Dr. Hannes Basson

I am Sincerely am so very grateful to Dr Basson his work is of such a high standard I had Top Private Health coverage for 20 years and the due to my Marriage breakdown after 23 years we no longer could afford it. My daughter had a issue with her stomach which took two years to be diagnosed. She had to go to school because she was in Year 10 and very driven to succeed as she has Dyslexia but has worked very hard to achieve decent grades. I was so distraught I felt I had let my daughter down because we did not have the Private Health coverage and that when we finally found out what the issue was which was no blame to any of the Specialist because it was just so deep in her stomach the scans were not picking it up. Dr Basson did say go do another scan but this time we will do it differently and he found the problem and got Jade in as quickly as he could. I was told by two other Specialist that when they do find the issue Jade would get the surgery with in 8 months. While she was attending school nearly every day in pain. I am so grateful to Dr Basson that he does provide such a high standard of care to those who just can not afford it. The world would be a much kinder happier place if all the " Private " surgeons and specialist would also give part of their working week to those who do not have the access to their specialised service. Thank you Dr Basson because of you Jade now has had the opportunity because of her hard work and great attitude and has started Certificate lll in Population Health there were limited spots provided by the Government and Jade went through the selection process and was so very blessed to get that opportunity and you made that happen Dr Basson and I will be forever grateful

Dr Basson took my appendicitis seriously when the nurses dismissed my pain. I was 14 at the time, and he was very considerate and kind. My parents percieved him to be very professional and knowledgeable.

Fabulous dr made me very comfortable and at ease about my surgery fear. Would highly recommend him

Had an operation a year or so ago, all went well. I found Dr. Basson to be a very caring and seemingly capable surgeon.
