Hoppy's Norman Park

I've used Hoppy's before and never had any issues. This time - I'm very disappointed about the service I've received. Paid for the $85 Daily Special a week ago and noticed the paint was chipped / damaged on both the hood and car door handle. Tried to call them (but fyi good luck trying to get in touch with them). Went back the same day and was told that the damage was from driving on the "road". I left the car wash and later noticed another chip - on the door handle. Identical to the damage on the hood. I could believe their explanation if it was just one chip but there is no excuse for why the car door handle has an identical damage. The car is 2 years old and purchased brand new. Very well maintained - no other dents or scratches. If it was from driving, wouldn't I have noticed these chips from driving for 2 years? They showed me on their CCTV that it had some dirt on the hood already when I came. And I remember specifically that there was bird poop on the car handle and that was why I went in for a car wash. They've inappropriately cleaned it and hence why the paintwork is now damaged. I've attempted to contact them further via messenger and have not received any explanation or customer support.

I've been taking my car here for a while and everytime they have done a perfect job. Hope they keep up the good work.

Good car wash, make sure you ask for the 5 dollar super car wash deal for your 2nd visit the first time you go as they don't offer it freely. Otherwise no dramas.

Spectacular job in cleaning my car and getting rid of all the dog hair. Highly recommended

I’ve been using Hoppys at Norman Park regularly for the last 4 years. I’ve always found the cafe staff and cleaning staff to be polite and generally do an excellent job. Thank you. However the greeting staff spoil what would otherwise be an excellent experience. Almost without exception, they are poorly presented, lack even the basic skills of customer service, and have no idea on how to upsell the services Hoppys offer. On one occasion 3 weeks ago the guy was extremely rude as well.
