Nice lookout and place to stop for a snacknThere are 2 ways to get there. Easier and shorter way, around 15 mins walk is via corner of Crowley and Berkeley Close. The more difficult walk will take approximately 1hr. There is a steep staircase at the beginning of the walk.
We visited this lookout with 2 young children (ages 7 & 3) and with grandma. We started walking from Berkeley Cl (Berkeley fire trail) that connects to Berkeley Trail. I would consider the hike as moderate one as there are some slopes and rocky paths (flat rocks between small streams as it rained for the past few days).nnThe lookout has a beautiful view overlooking Berowra Creek. Do note that even though it has a wide path to walk but it is not wheelchair friendly.
This was a really great short walk to do with many different options to extend if you're looking for a longer or harder walk as well. Easily accessed through the end of a suburban street, there's a steep decent down a concreted driveway type thing. It goes up and down in sections so best to keep in mind depending on how mobile you are but quite easy for anyone of any age who is able bodied. Feels like you're in the middle of nowhere and really beautiful trees and rocks. About 400m walk from the street to the lookout which is really beautiful. Best times would be sunrise, sunset or late afternoon sun.nThis is part of the Great North Walk so there are a few tracks off this one to continue on to. Reviewed by @thesaltyexplorers on Instragam.
Great spot with a lovely walk in. We did a loop from Joala Crescent and came out at Berkeley Close. There were a few people on mountain bikes too, as the path was level enough for a bike. It was a bit wet down there (look out for leeches) but fine to do with regular walking shoes.
Great lookout with only one picnic tablenAbout 15 minutes walk from where you parked the car to get here. A few steep hikes but the surface is smooth as it is a fire truck trail that you would be walking or mountain biking. Nice views of the Berowra creek and surrounding bush lands.
