A great trail, only 18km from the hustle and bustle of the city! Nice and quiet, the track ascends steeply at the start, before levelling out as it follows the ridgeline, and then continuing upward toward the summit. Good level of fitness required, especially for the first section. Too many trees to get an uninterrupted panoramic view, but you will find small pockets with good views over Samford Valley and surrounds. Make sure to bring plenty of water and shoes with good grip.

Great fitness walk on a fire trail, we started at Woodview St . The walk was a tick under 5km return and took us 45 mins to the end of the trail and 35 mins to get back, total of 1hr 20 mins including a stop at the top.nDefinately need a good level of fitness and recommend walking poles to help you on the descent.nWe didn't have any today and the steep slopes were tricky on the way down, they were very slippery.nYou can see peeks of Samford Valley through the trees on the left on the way up.nIt's nice and quiet, we didnt see much bird life (or any Koalas ud83dudc28) however the bird songs were nice.nTake plenty of water if walking in the heat, and a towel to mop up your sweat!nThe watch photos were taken at the top. It's worth the walk if you are fit enough

This place is such an awesome little hike close to the Brisbane CBD, there isn’t a whole lot of info on this place online but it is super accessible and heaps of fun.nnThis place is a great place to train as there super steep hills to climb which is an amazing calve workout. Walking the outside of the loop and the out and back trek took about 1 hour walking at a brisk pace. There is no lookout at the top of the mountain but there is multiple places to stop and relax along the way.

Some amazing hikes and bush walks. Don't expect panoramic views at the top of House Mountain range, there isn't enough cleared trees to get what would be stunning views. Still, if you like a relatively challenging hike, it's well worth it.

Plenty of steep walks that will keep your heart rate up. Recommend wearing good shoes with plenty of grip as fire trails are steep enough to be very slippery in places.
