Dr Dermot Collopy

Mr Collopy was recommended by another surgeon, which is no faint praise. He proved to be kind, good humoured and, best of all, a good surgeon, with the latest technology and expertise. He has a thorough approach to post-operative care, calling in every morning to the hospital to check on my progress. He is also open to suggestions, which I appreciated. I was able to walk unaided in under a week, although my overall recuperation took longer. (Sue Scrutton - posting under a relative's name.)

I'm going for my second hip replacement with Dr. Dermot with complete confidence. He certainly knows his hips! He is also a thoughtful and caring man...and is straight to the point.

Dr Collopy is a first rate surgeon with a beautiful manner about him. He did several surgeries on my left femur, which I broke in the USA and also did a total knee replacement for me. I cannot recommend him highly enough. A truly gifted surgeon and a very nice man as well.
