My wife booked trip to NYC through Flight Centre, & their rep Peter Elson, ("call me Pete" ) and she was told though disabled she'd have to carry her own bags from gate to gate & through Customs @ LAX. I contacted Qantas direct who made appropriate arrangements via their Meet & Greet policy - simple. Also when booking the trip 2 months ago she tried to book specific seats through Pete- not available says Pete - wrong, Qantas this morning confirmed the seats for 3 of the 4 legs were still available 2 months later. Any future trips will be booked direct through airline, thanks to Pete's heads up.
