Western Diagnostic Pathology

I got my blood taken today by Brittany and she was so lovely and professional! I hate blood tests and get really nervous but she was so kind and talked me through it all and made me feel much more comfortable. Also the most painless blood draw I’ve ever had! Can’t recommend her enough, I wouldn’t want to see anyone else!

I had blood taken this morning at Western Diagnostic, Wray Avenue, Fremantle. The clinic was not busy, with only two clients. There was no greeting and no information regarding how long the wait would be. I was just told to take a seat. One client left and the phlebotomist who had attended him simply did his paperwork for 5-10 minutes while I continued to wait. Again no information on how long I had to wait. The other phlebotomist was with another client.nWhen I was finally asked to come in, the phlebotomist, whose name is Laysa, was curt and cold and offered not explanation or apology for what appeared to have been an unnecessary wait.nAfter Laysa had taken my blood I politely told her that she could improve her customer service skills. She said they had been very busy, offered no other explanation or apology and with a raised voice said I should make my complaint on the website.nConsider it done. I will also inform my medical practice and post my feedback on social media.
