From arrival things felt off. We were 25 minutes early which I thought would have been a good thing... apparently not as the ladies tone was very condescending. My partner is Brazilian and she made sly remarks to her about not being able to understand her which is rude.nnWhen it was time for my little mans very first ever haircut he was very upset and scared. The same lady who greeted us was cutting his hair and she was trying to rush through the cut and he was crying and unsettled making it difficult for her and us to trying to help her, she didn’t respond well at all to this and became annoyed saying things like “i don’t know why people bring their kids in when they’re this young for a haircut” (my boy is 20 months old and it’s a KIDS haircut business?) then she forcefully grabbed his jaw with her hand as she was frustrated with him moving instead of maybe asking me or talking to him and us!!! I was shocked and asked her to be gentle and that there was no need for that at all. She then attempted to do that again which didn’t sit well with me and we ended the haircut right then and there. At no time did she attempt to make this experience a pleasant one or try to reassure us, it was all about getting us out. I’m truly disgusted at the behaviour of this woman and she needs to ask herself the serious question of if she should be working with young kids anymore. Disgraceful I would give this woman 0 stars if it was an option.

Ziggetty at Robina is absolutely amazing, there all extremely lovely recommend taking your kids there to get there hair cut, I've been taking my son for the past 3 and half years and they always do an amazing job highly highly recommend

To the previous review; I’m sorry you feel the need to lie. I NEVER said anything of the sort about cutting someone so young, we welcome babes as young as 8mths. I was not sly about understanding your wife, I explained that I couldn’t understand well over the phone getting your sons details as yes she has an accent and the salon was busy so I needed to get his details while you were here!nnI asked you to help me ie; stand up so your son could rest onto you to assist with cutting, he was turning his head away as do a lot of the children and I help his chin to assist stabilising his head so I didn’t cut his ear as your request was to cut it above the ear. I’m sure you didn’t want his ear cut!! Little ones don’t understand the haircut process and so it’s not easy to talk them through. I’m sorry you can’t tell the truth, I refused to finish the haircut and refused to take your money for an incomplete haircut. Unfortunately you will struggle elsewhere getting his hair cut as most will refuse because they move too much. Good luck

Had such a great experience here today. My nearly 2 year old has had 2 haircuts in the past and hated them. This time around he was amazing. The lady was so nice and gentle. So good at what she did and knew how to handle a toddler that moves around alot. My boy loved the cars that you sat in. He loved that he could watch the wiggles right infront of him and he had trucks to play with that they provided. I highly reccomend this place!! We will definitely be back again. My 3 year old son is quite frightened of having his hair cut, and can be challenging. The lovely ladies handled it beautifully. They were calm and friendly and very experienced. His hair cut ended up amazing too. Very happy and will most certainly be back.
