Meadowlands Picnic Ground

Open fields, shady areas, small playground, some covered/sheltered gazebos.nGood park for a picnic (I mean, it’s in the name!).nThe car park has plenty of space.nThere are 6 swings, 1 of them appropriate for toddlers.nNot so nice public toilet, and some older BBQ areas.

The picnic area needs alot of upgrades and be careful if you take kids we found a used needle on the floor under one of the picnic sites near the toilet. It's a shame because I remember coming here as a kid and loved the place but unfortunately we won't be back.

The place excellent with clean tidy BBQs that we actually felt comfortable eating off and the park lands where over all very presentable. The place was a good hit for all young , old and extended family members ( The Dogs) recommend to anybody for great family day out or cricket game with heap of your mates or just time out for yourself with a good walk around the place
