Star Car Wash - Carindale

Haven’t been to this car wash before but I will again. They convinced me to do a mini detail on my newish BMW and they didn’t disappoint. Good work gent. And nice guys too.

Never taking my car there again for a wash and polish.nCar returned with dirt on the roof not washed off- a bit of saliva removed it when I got it back.nSeat were still dusty and small dirt on itnWindows not clean properly, there was oil stream on itnSide review mirror still had water mark on itnInterior review mirror not even touchednRear glass only clean on the center and not the sidenUnder side mirror, dirt still presentnAnd morenWhen taken back- the receptionist was aggressive toward me bringing the car back to get these corrected and with dirt still on the roof I wonder if the polish was even done

My favourite part about going to star wash at Carindale is that I get to go home and wash my car straight afterwards! Apparently a premium wash (interior & exterior) doesn’t include wiping the interior, just ‘dusting’.. I also asked why the floor wasn’t vacuumed. The employee said ‘it was from their shoes after moving my car’. Good to know I get to clean that up too. Just wishing I could post up the ‘after’ photos so ppl know what they’re in for.

Staff were friendly and came up with a plan and quite prior to clean. Estimated time for wash completion was accurate, car was sparkling clean at pick up, very happy

Did not have a great experience (and it's not the first time). Although the service was completed on time, I returned home to find my garage door remote misplaced and an interior side door arm padding missing. I couldn't find the garage remote so had to drive 15 minutes back to the car wash for them to try and find it. Thankfully it was found. They also found the padding with their stuff - so who knows whether I was ever going to get that back unless I'd asked. There was no offer of a discounted service or a refund (and I admit I was so fed up and tired by this stage that I didn't even bother asking). For $179, I won't exactly be going back there again.
