My experience has been with Gigi and I found her knowledge and level of helpfulness was fantastic.nnVery happy with the interactions I had with Capitol and would recommend them to others.

Capital have been great with the complex where I live. Been here 7 years and they have always been helpful, understanding and are just a phone call away. Our Manager (Elizabeth) was new last year and is so easy to work with. Thank you for all you do.

I am very disappointed with the service provided and the attitude of the staff I have dealt with at Capitol thus far. It is disheartening that I have to read the contract and essentially enforce the services we are paying for. In my opinion, it is unsatisfactory to pay for something and after paying for it only receive it if you specifically ask for it. If I pay for a service which includes 2 committee meetings per year I expect Capitol to proactively ask if I would like to use this service.nIt is unacceptable to assume that because I did not ask I don’t want it. We the committee members are not legal, financial, or Strata professionals and require guidance and direction, which I thought we were paying Capitol to provide.nBoth my relationship manager and his team leader responded to my concerns with “I do not know what you don’t know” and “We aren’t mind readers”. I think these response are very childish. When you don’t know the level of understanding your client has, I think the most appropriate response is to assume they have no understanding and work up from there. The approach I see Capitol taking is not proactively informing their clients what services they have paid for and are therefore entitled to. It’s a great business model to collect fees and not provide a service. Its almost identical to fees-for-no-service scandal uncovered in the royal commission into banking.nContracts are complicated and Capitols staff have demonstrated that not even they understand them. My relationship manager said “we include 2 committee meetings each year for your scheme as a bonus in the agreement, you are not paying for something you are not getting - The price would have been the same without them, it was part of an original negation in the beginning by our new business department.” I have read the contract and a committee meeting is an agreed service which is paid for by the $160 plus GST per lot that we pay. Did your staff just lie to me?nI have been on the committee less then 12 months and have no experience with body corporate. It was my expectation that Capitol would guide me and help me in my role as Chairman. I don’t feel like our body corporate administrator is acting in our best interests. I really hope we can sort this out.

I requested quotes from several providers for the upcoming AGM paperwork. Capitol was the first to respond and provide the pricing and information requested. Very quick response and easy contact information if I have further questions. Thank-you.

I have dealt with Felicity Frewin and Vicki Sutherland over the 5 years and have found both to the both very professional, attentive, outstanding and go above and beyond and always there to answer phone calls and to address emails and any concerns that I had as Chairperson and Treasurer at the complex.nnI personally highly recommend both Felicity and Vickie for the outstanding work they do and I know how demanding there jobs are and dealing with other complexes and still getting the response resolution that was required or me to achieve.
