Happy Hair

Great haircut from Ben, he was super lovely and did an amazing job going from long thick heavy hair to a beautiful lively short cut. I love it! Also a very relaxing head massage as part of the wash and a coffee - bonus mini pamper session :) Thanks Ben!nThe location was easy to access, by both public transport and plenty of free parking. Clean fresh layout and a nice vibe.

We are previous clients of Happy Hair Ferny Grove. Ben is my Children’s favourite hairdresser. Ben is the main reason we return to Happy Hair. He is always polite and gives attention to detail. When we discovered that Happy Hair moved to Everton Park, at my Daughters first appointment during Brisbane’s Covid19 lockdown, we weren’t sure where exactly they were. We arrived 10 minutes late as my car GPS sent us to the shopping centre nearby and as we couldn’t find Happy Hair there, I rang them immediately to let them know we were lost however they weren’t answering so I left a message asking them for directions and that we were running late now as we were lost. Anyway as we didn’t receive a call back, my daughter got onto her phone GPS and directed me to the correct location while I drove there. When we arrived, my daughter and I made our way towards the building and I tried to open the glass door but had a bit of difficulty opening the glass door. We received stares from all the female staff there including the customers as we could see through all the glass frontage and they could see us having issues finding the front door. Not one person inside near the doorway assisted us or directed us as they were obviously staring through the see through glass. Once I managed to open the door, I greeted them and apologised for arriving late due to getting lost but we still received stares and no greeting was given so no courtesy given to us and we felt like we were being judged like criminals. However, friendly Ben came forward in that awkward moment and made my daughter feel at ease as he directed her to the chair. I was still standing near reception desk exhausted after walking around the nearby shopping centre and the blonde lady sitting at reception desk there ignored me. I was upset at this point but didn’t complain however I asked her politely in frustration, can I please sit down. As I mentioned previously, Ben is the reason why we return to Happy Hair. I’m giving a five star rating for Ben’s outstanding service however I wish I could give another rating of only 1 star to the poor Public Relations and poor Service of not making my Daughter and myself feel welcome by the other staff members. I hope you read my review and in future learn not to prejudge your clients before hearing their side of the story. Thanks so much, Ben, you are an awesome representative of how good service should be given.

Best cuts on the northside. 10/10

Brea and Ben were absolute god sends right when I needed them. they’re both super professional but are also able to communicate with their clients really well and make you feel super comfortable and relaxed! my treatment usually takes about 5 hours but they made the whole time go by really quickly with their attentiveness and eyes for detail! can’t wait for my next appointment with the team, they really are one of the best salons you’ll find! ud83eudd0d
