Chermside Hills Reserve

Giwadha track (entry on Trouts Rd) is a lovely 2km loop. If trail running 2 loops is comfortable with a detour up Spider Hill for a bit of elevation with decent gradient to practise uphill and downhill running.nIt’s all part of Chermside Hills Reserve (8km loop)

Great little track to get back to nature especially for a novice walker. Half way round is a park to get a drink with swings. Didnt spot a toilet. Do not recommend prams as there is a few stairs and do not recommend scooters as the ground is really rocky. Sadly didnt see any wallabies only a few lizards

What a lovely little find this was and so conveniently located in Brisbane! Normally I would expect to have to drive outside of Brisbane to find such a tranquil and significant bush walk. A big bonus for our family was that dogs are allowed, although I assume they're to be kept on leash.

Nice leisurely hike for a sat/sun afternoon.

Clean and a nice walk, didn't see any koalas or wallabies though
